STUDENT ASSISTANT OCMS

Department: Project & Information management (P&I)
Venue: Tilburg
Type of contract: on-call/oproep
Fulltime gross monthly salary: € 3230 – € 3288
Contract Duration: 6 months
Intended start date: October, 2026

We are looking for a student assistant for analysis and migration of research contracts to the research contracts management application OCMS.

OCMS

OCMS is an application purposed for registering research contracts and is developed within the VIA program. VIA is a program for improvement of information- and archiving management within Tilburg University.

Your position

Are you a motivated student who enjoys analyzing and organizing various datasets, communicating with stakeholders, and working in a complex and academic environment? VIA program is looking for an initiative-taking and dependable Student Assistant to support and contribute to the data migration of research contracts to OCMS.

Job description

Phase 1: Research Project Assessment and Inventory

  • Analyze datasets from multiple sources.
  • Consolidate data from different systems into one accurate and current overview.

Phase 2: Contract Data Preparation

  • Identify contracts linked to research.
  • Assess and determine which contracts are in scope for migration.
  • Capture, validate, and enrich contract metadata.
  • Prepare contract records and documentation for migration to OCMS.

Phase 3: OCMS Migration

  • Migrate research project metadata to OCMS.

Requirements

  • You are enrolled as a student at Tilburg University and have obtained at least 60 ECTS in a university bachelor's program or are following a master's program.
  • Minimum CEFR level C1 English and Dutch proficiency.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Structured and well-organized working style
  • Initiative-taking, independent-working and purposeful mindset
  • Affinity with data, document, and contract management is a plus.
  • Confident using Microsoft Teams, Outlook and other M365 office tools.
  • Dependable and consistent in meeting deadlines and commitments.

What do we offer?

Tilburg University offers excellent benefits in a pleasant working environment:

  • Employment of on-call contract for the duration of 6 months.
  • Salary between € 3230 and € 3288 gross per month for full-time employment (UFO profile Student Assistant, salary scale SA). Salary depends on how many ECTS the student has obtained.
  • This is a vacancy for a Student Assistant who provides support for non-structural and operational tasks in accordance. Application to this vacancy is only possible if you are registered as a student at Tilburg University and have at least 60 ECTS. You will be given a temporary contract for the duration of 6 months.
  • Vacation pay of 8% and a year-end bonus is part of the salary.
