Inholland University of Applied Sciences (Hogeschool Inholland) is a large university of applied sciences with locations in eight cities of the Randstad, the central-western region of the Netherlands and the country's economic, political and cultural hub, including Amsterdam, Diemen, Haarlem, Alkmaar, Delft,… Inholland University of Applied Sciences (Hogeschool Inholland) is a large university of applied sciences with locations in eight cities of the Randstad, the central-western region of the Netherlands and the country's economic, political and cultural hub, including Amsterdam, Diemen, Haarlem, Alkmaar, Delft, The Hague, Rotterdam and Dordrecht. It has more than 37,000 students from over a hundred countries and follows the applied-sciences model of education. Inholland offers full-time and part-time bachelor's programmes, associate degrees and professional master's programmes in domains including business, finance and law; creative business; technology, design and computing; agriculture, food and life sciences; health, sports and welfare; and education. Its practice-oriented research is organised in research groups and knowledge centres, led by professors of applied sciences (lectoren), on themes such as the creative industries, healthy society, agri, food and life sciences, and business, finance and law, in cooperation with organisations across the Randstad.
