Opportunità is a structured index of open academic positions in Europe: PhD, postdoc, researcher, lecturer and professorship roles. Every position is collected directly from the career page of the university, research institute or hospital that published it.
We do not host applications, we are not a recruiter, and we never stand between you and the institution. We organise what is already public so it can be searched, compared and understood in one place. Then we send you to the employer's own page to apply.
Academic positions live on hundreds of separate career sites, written in different formats and different languages. The details that decide whether you apply sit in a different place on every page, when they are stated at all: the deadline, the salary, the contract length, the group, the person to contact.
The real cost is not that positions are hard to find. It is that the hours spent copying links into a spreadsheet, re-reading adverts to work out whether a salary was mentioned, and rebuilding a CV from scratch for every application are hours not spent making the application stronger.
We did not build another search engine over other people's job boards. We go to the institutions themselves, with one connection written for each university, institute and hospital, so that a position arrives with its real fields attached instead of being scraped out of a wall of text.
That means every position on Opportunità can be traced back to the institution that published it, and every application continues on the institution's own page. We are a better way in. We are never a step you have to pass through.

Every position passes a validation stage before it is published, and gaps are recorded as gaps rather than filled in. In the last seven days the platform ran 7,151 source checks with a 99.5% success rate.

Discovery is complete. Coverage grows country by country and institution by institution, and some features are still being calibrated. We would rather build this in the open than pretend to be finished.
Opportunità is not part of a university, a funding body, or a recruitment agency. The order you see is the order the data produces.
