Description du projet

The RMIT School of Engineering funded PhD stipend scholarship is available for an aspiring chemical engineering graduate (Bachelors /Masters) to conduct research in wastewater treatment project. The project provides opportunity to conduct research at both RMIT campus and also at industrial partner facility at large scale.

Value and duration

The scholarship provides stipend of $34,841 per annum pro rata (full-time) for three years, and successful applicant will also be awarded a Tuition Fee Scholarship if required.

Eligibility

  1. Have a first-class Honours in chemical engineering (Bachelors or Masters).
  2. be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or an international student meeting the minimum English language requirements.
  3. provide evidence of adequate oral and written communication skills.
  4. meet RMIT’s entry requirements for the PhD by research degree.

Further information

The project will provide numerous research and development opportunities including:

  1. Development of phenomenological and CFD models for aeration systems of sewage treatment plant.
  2. Development of lab scale and pilot scale experimental rigs.
