Project Description
Als arts-assistent in opleiding tot specialist (AIOS) in de klinische Pathologie word je opgeleid in alle facetten van de patiëntenzorg op de afdeling Pathologie. Je leert om histologische en moleculaire analyses te integreren met klinische en beeldvormende informatie en daarmee bij te dragen aan een optimale behandeling van patiënten. Je hebt te maken met bijna alle specialismen in het ziekenhuis.
De opleiding is thematisch opgebouwd waardoor alle deelgebieden van de pathologie aan bod komen in blokken van 3 maanden. Een half jaar wetenschappelijk onderzoek is onderdeel van de opleiding. Dit kan op verschillende manieren worden ingevuld en kan soms onderdeel zijn van- of aanleiding zijn tot- een promotieonderzoek.
De opleiding tot patholoog duurt 5 jaar bij een voltijds aanstelling. De start van de opleiding is in de eerste helft van 2027 (datum in overleg). Er zijn 4 plaatsen beschikbaar.
