About the Opportunity

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional and inspiring leader as Head of School, Health Sciences, based in Launceston, Tasmania.

This is a rare opportunity to lead a School that is making a tangible difference to the health and wellbeing of Tasmanian communities through education, research and partnership. Home to disciplines spanning allied health, exercise and sports science, and laboratory medicine, the School is uniquely positioned at the intersection of community need, workforce development and health innovation.

Based within the University's state-of-the-art facilities in Launceston, you will lead a collaborative and interdisciplinary academic community united by a shared purpose: improving lives through better health outcomes. Through deep partnerships with health services, government, industry and community organisations, the School is shaping the next generation of health professionals and helping address Tasmania's most pressing workforce and health challenges.

As a key member of the UTAS Health leadership team, you will help realise the University's vision of creating healthier, more connected communities.
