Offer Summary
Erasmus University Medical Center in Rotterdam is recruiting a PhD candidate for the Lifelong VISION project, a Dutch Ministry‑funded program running from 2024 to 2033. The role focuses on developing patient profiles for age‑related macular degeneration (LMD) by analysing large, unique datasets of over 20,000 individuals, combining eye imaging with multi‑omics data (proteomics, genomics, microbiomics). Candidates will build AI‑based predictive models and contribute to data collection for the ERGO population study. The position is full‑time, open to applicants until 1 October 2026, and offers a chance to shape future precision therapies for eye diseases.

Project Description
