Project Description

Do you want to contribute to top quality medical research?

The position is linked to Mikael Lundqvist's team in Johan Lundström's research group (Perceptual Neuroscience) at the Department of Clinical Neuroscience, Division of Psychology. In our research group, you will find a unique opportunity to work closely with leading researchers at the intersection of psychology and neuroscience, in a shared effort to understand human cognition at a neural level. We offer an engaging and international research environment where you will have the opportunity to contribute to high-quality research at an international top level.

Your mission

As a research assistant, you will work on a series of projects that examine different aspects of working memory in humans. It is part of a larger project that also uses animal and computer models to understand this fundamental cognitive ability. You will primarily work with data collection that includes behavioral, EEG, MEG, MRI, and eye-tracking data.

Your profile

We are looking for a responsible individual with a strong interest in neuroscience research. You must hold a Master’s degree in neuroscience or other field we deem as relevant. Previous experience of collecting experimental data such as eye-tracking, brain imaging, physiological data, and behavioural data, is also required.

You must have good interpersonal skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work independently and with a high degree of accuracy. Fluency in both written and spoken English is required. We attach great importance to personal suitability.

The following experience is considered particularly meritorious:
