About the role
The Mauri group specialises in B regulatory cells in the context of autoimmunity. We have developed a novel IL-10 fate reporter mouse strain that allow us to track regulatory B cells to study their ontology and function in inflammatory disease models. The Mauri group uses these models to establish the contribution of B cells and B regulatory cells on autoimmunity, antibody response and age-related immune defects. The position holder will explore the role of IL-10 experienced B cells function in inflammatory disease models. The project will provide an important understanding of how the B cell compartment influences immune responses such as autoimmunity and aging.
The position is available from November 2026 for 6 months at least.
