As a Tutor Academy teaching assistant, you work with the various researchers, lecturers and/or professors at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM).

Job description

In your role as teaching assistant (TA), you support faculty in conducting research or with their administrative tasks. You may also grade assignments and/or exams and give workshops. We provide you with additional training so that you can deliver workshops when needed.

Please note: first-year students cannot apply for a TA vacancy and alumni typically do not serve as teaching assistants.

Job requirements

Before you can apply for a Tutor Academy vacancy, you must:

  • reside in the Netherlands; and
  • possess a BSN (social security number).

Employment conditions and benefits

You are compensated according to the standard student-assistant scale. In autumn 2023, for example, this amounted to a gross hourly rate of between €15.87 and €15.90 for second- and third-year students, and €17.24 - €17.28 for fourth-year and master students.
