The University of Western Australia is recruiting two full‑time Associate Lecturers for a two‑year fixed‑term contract in its Department of Mathematics and Statistics, located in Crawley. The role is part of the Future Fellowship project “New Perspectives on Nonlocal Equations,” led by Professor Serena Dipierro, and involves cutting‑edge research in nonlocal equations, partial differential equations, free‑boundary problems, and related areas. Candidates should hold a relevant tertiary qualification (PhD desirable) and demonstrate research capability through peer‑reviewed publications. About the area
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics is part of the School of Physics, Mathematics and Computing at The University of Western Australia. The Department has an established reputation for excellence in both research and teaching and is home to internationally recognised researchers working across pure and applied mathematics, statistics, and interdisciplinary mathematical sciences.
This position sits within the Future Fellowship project led by Professor Serena Dipierro, offering an exciting opportunity to undertake research at the forefront of nonlocal equations, partial differential equations, free boundary problems and related areas of mathematical analysis. Working alongside leading researchers, you will contribute to a collaborative and internationally connected research environment while developing your teaching and academic profile
