Building Resilient Healthcare Services for Future Crises
Healthcare services are increasingly facing complex challenges, such as pandemics, workforce shortages, technological change, and other events that either affect services over time or arise suddenly. This PhD project will investigate what enables healthcare services to maintain high-quality care when confronted with such challenges.
The project will explore the factors that characterize different types of healthcare crises, as well as the attributes and ways of working that make organizations better equipped to manage them. The aim is to identify what creates resilient and adaptive healthcare services and how these capabilities can be strengthened at different levels of the healthcare system.
