Sintesi dell’opportunità
The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology invites applications for a full‑time PhD and scientific staff position in high‑field EPR spectroscopy and millimeter‑wave resonators. Candidates will design, simulate, and fabricate advanced microwave and millimeter‑wave resonators, develop multi‑resonance EPR detectors, and integrate optoelectronic modules to create compact, fiber‑coupled high‑field EPR systems operating up to 9.4 T. Responsibilities include electromagnetic modeling with COMSOL and CST, fabrication of resonators up to 263 GHz, and experimental validation via EPR, ENDOR, and DNP on model samples. Applicants should hold a Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Photonics, Physics, or a related field, possess strong RF/microwave expertise, and be fluent in English.
