Project Description

This maternity leave opportunity within Research, Innovation & Enterprise offers the chance to play a key role in supporting the University of Aberdeen’s ambitious growth in externally funded research. Working closely with the Faculty of Medicine, Health & Life Sciences, you will identify funding opportunities, provide expert advice on research funding applications, and support the development of high-quality grant proposals, contracts and collaborative research initiatives. You will work alongside academics, professional services colleagues and external partners to help increase research income and contribute to research excellence that addresses some of society’s most pressing challenges.

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive, highly organised and motivated individual with experience of research funding, bid development and project management. Knowledge of the UK health research funding landscape, including UKRI and NIHR, and experience supporting clinical research would be advantageous. This role is based in the UK and as such the successful candidate will be required to live and work in the UK.
